General Description:
Oracle Financial Consultant based out of Morristown, NJ who can engage as team lead on Oracle EBusiness Suite Implementation Projects. This person will be responsible for the design and implementation of Oracle 11i Financial applications.
Essential Functions:
- Gather business requirements and recommended best practices
- Make recommendations for business change or product implementation
- Create high-level design specifications from business requirements
- Work closely with technical developers to deliver custom processes, reports and the development and integration of product extensions to external systems
- Create project plans, identify risks, create risk mitigation plans, track budgets, and forecast time estimates to complete tasks
- Work with hosted and non-hosted organizations to resolve various technical/functional issues
- Create process flows, documentation on company specific functionality, test scripts, and month end close documents
- Perform functional setup steps for Oracle Financials 11i Modules & Oracle Project Accounting
- Train users on product usage and maintenance
- Assist with writing and development of proposals for new projects
- Act as point of contact between development team and clients to resolve issues and manage scope changes
- Mentor junior consultants as needed
Education/Experience Requirements:
4 or more years of functional implementation experience with the Oracle Financials version 11i and some Oracle Project Accounting Modules (Costing & Billing) experience.
