General Description:
An Associate Oracle Developer will learn from more experienced Oracle Developers and take full responsibility for the basics of Oracle Application Software Development The analyst shall report to the Application Technical Manager.
Essential Functions:
• Working with business analysts/functional consultants to understand and document the business requirements.
• Develop customizations and extensions to Oracle Applications using Oracle Forms 6i, Reports 6i and PL/SQL.
• Develop interfaces between Oracle applications and 3rd party software systems.
• Work with hosted and non-hosted organizations to resolve various technical issues.
• Work with Oracle Support to resolve Oracle application bugs.

Education/Experience Requirements
• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline
• At least 2 years of experience in developing commercial applications using Oracle technology.
• Must be proficient with PL/SQL, Oracle Reports 6i and basic Unix/Linux commands.
• Experience in any Oracle application module is an added advantage.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong conceptual, analytical and decision making skills.
