General Description:
Senior Oracle Discrete Manufacturing Functional Consultant based out of Morristown, NJ who can engage as team lead on Oracle EBusiness Suite Implementation Projects. We are pursuing full time employees for senior positions who will be responsible for the design and implementation of Oracle Discrete Manufacturing applications.
Essential Functions:
- Ability to setup, test and deploy the Oracle Manufacturing modules including Oracle WIP, BOM, Engineering, Cost Management, MRP, and Quality.
- Clear understanding of order cycles and inventory item design including bill of materials, and experience with ATO and PTO models
- Ability to configure and train client personnel in the Oracle Applications Business flows.
- These employees will be expected to work directly with client personnel to prepare needs analysis and gap analysis documentation.
- Map business requirements to Oracle Applications functionality
- Gather, document and review with client personnel the detailed implementation requirements.
- Define and explain areas for business process improvements to client personnel
- Work with other implementation team leads to coordinate activities and timelines
- Assist project management personnel with status reporting
- Supervise staff consultants with configuration and business test scenarios
- Provide hands on training to client personnel in the use and maintenance of the Oracle Applications
- Provide post production support on an as needed basis
- Demonstrate skill with written and oral communication, customer service, analysis, and development.
- Possess strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work on multiple projects and project phases simultaneously
- Able to identify engagement follow-on opportunities
- Must be willing to relocate to the NY Metro area
Education Requirements:
- 4+ years of Oracle Applications experience including at least three full life cycle implementations
- Experience with Oracle Applications 11.5.9 and other versions
- Bachelors degree in a relevant subject
- Experience with AIM or other Oracle Applications implementation methodology preferred
