General Description:
Responsible for the planning, definition, development, delivery, maintenance, and management of HRMS Consulting Services policies, procedures, resources required for internal and outsourced deployments and related project implementations as well as the recruitment and management of the personnel required to provide proactive and reactive client-centric consulting services in support of these deployments.
Essential Functions:
- Develops and implements consulting project plans in accordance with client-centric timeframes while delivering high quality within budget.
- Recruits, trains, retains, and manages excellent team-oriented consulting resources to implement proactive consulting services.
- Provides direction to principals and junior level consultants. Develops and mentors junior and mid-level staff. Integrates new consultants at all levels into the practice. Manages staff to successfully analyze, design, develop, and implement complex projects.
- Serves as escalation point for complex pre-sales issues that cannot be resolved by Sales Team members.
- Develops and maintains strategies and policies to enhance communication, goals, planning, and execution of Consulting Services deliverables.
- Plans and executes strategies to enhance consulting services policies, processes, procedures, metrics, employee skill levels and productivity.
- Manages and coaches HRMS Consulting Services Team in achieving individual goals and personal/professional growth.
- Applies performance metrics and incentives to promote goal-setting and goal-achievement of HRMS Consulting Services Teams.
- Manages client expectations for post-sales consulting services delivery.
- Ensures technical training/support and knowledge is transferred to client support staff.
- Performs the job responsibilities of Principal /Senior Principal Consultant /Project Manager, as required.
- Maintains excellent, client-centric relationship with clients to ensure their satisfaction and willingness to provide positive references.
Education/Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in HR related field or equivalent
- Background in Human Resources as an HR Admin in previous career a plus
- Experience with AIM Methodology, Business Process Engineering, and Project Management tools and/or similar ERP implementation methodologies
- 5+ years of technical experience in a support, consulting, or field support environment; 2+ years management experience in related industry.
- Basis SQL programming skills are desirable
- Must have excellent analytical and a problem solving skills
- Interest to be part of functional consulting group (Non-programming)
- Has been through multiple Oracle HR Implementations, including PTO, HRMS, OAB
- Possesses excellent written and verbal interpersonal and communication skills.
